If you are reading this, then you are a trooper for sticking with me after over a month with no posting. Between, being sick, family, holidays, sub-zero temperatures, trips, more sickness, and, no doubt, a little laziness, I have not done much shopping in the past month! Thankfully, we have plenty of most everything on hand, so the shopping wasn't missed by anyone.
In the next little bit, I will get back into a routine of posting good deals I find, along with printable coupons and freebies. I also want to start posting about baking and cooking ahead of time, as our family saves time, money, and headaches that way. If you haven't already, I encourage you to follow some of my favorite frugal bloggers. I'll start with three, so as not to overwhlem you. They blog like it's there job (for some of them it is), so they are more reliable than, well, me! Check them out!
Money Saving Mom
Frugal ideas, deals, and coupons, menu planning, baking and cooking ahead
Deal Seeking Mom
Deals, coupons, freebies, links to other frugal mom blogs
Leaving Excess
Ideas for simplifying your life, living by a budget, and cooking and storing food
I should have given you these links before I dropped off the planet, but better late than never, right?

On the subject of baking ahead of time, my parents had this cookbook when I was growing up and I found a copy at DI once. It's called "Make a Mix Cookery". You can buy it on Amazon for cheap too and it's GREAT! It has all kind of make at home mixes for tons of meals and desserts and stuff. Just a thought.
Steph, I have some of those Make a Mix Cookery books. Would you like to borrow them? I actually know where they are! {:o) Also, remember that book about cooking for a month ahead that you used for that YW (or was it Girl Scout) cooking project you did for our family? I'll see if I can find that one also. (Notice I said "if"?) {:o) Love, Mom
